Royal Medical Benevolent Fund

The Royal Medical Benevolent Fund exists to relieve hardship among doctors and their families. It might be thought nowadays that this is unnecessary but illness and age can affect anyone and lead to financial hardship.

The Belfast Medical Society and the Ulster Medical Society were accustomed in the past to support the Medical Benevolent Fund of Ireland, and the Council of the Ulster Medical Society has decided that we should now offer similar support to the RMBF.

All money collected is well spent and we would encourage you to subscribe. Donations can be Gift Aided as long as you pay sufficient income tax.
