Belfast Medical Students Association

The Belfast Medical Students’ Association was founded in 1886 and was the second student society in Queen's, the Literary and Scientific Society being the first.

BMSA recently celebrated its 125th anniversary. The current Committee would welcome offers of memorabilia including photographs, archive material and anecdotes.

History of the BMSA

The late Professor J Barry Bridges wrote a history of the Belfast Medical Students Association. A medium resolution copy is available on the downloads page.
